Does anyone know where I can find a definitive guide to converting a 93 LQ1 OBDI to OBDII ? I have access to a rather extensive amount of 95-97 LQ1 engine parts and if not I can find them. Since it is no longer in a Lumina and now frankensteined into a 1970 VW Squareback I have a good amount of extra hood space, so power adder suggestions and custom fab suggestions are welcome as well.

Easiest way is to snag a '96 or '97 engine harness and ECU. after that use a pin schematic for both the OBDI and OBDII and make changes... I did the swap a few years ago there was a pin out of what needs to change on the C100 (firewall connector), prob. still there. There are a few of us turbo guys as well. look in the boost section and you will see how it was done. Myself, TimG, Ferrarifan, and a few others all have DOHC turbo setups.
here is the posts from my swap.
Hope this helps,

ODB II engines have a cam position sensor so you will have to swap a cam carrier that has the sensor provisions. Also, ODB II is MAF not MAP and sequential fuel injection so there are some wiring differences there too. I know this because I went the other way on my turbo build. I took a 97 ODBII and coverted it to 90 ODBI so I could run the $8f code mask.
