I pulled the spark plugs and notice that the metal part (upper portion) of the spark plug is completely rusted. Also the tip of 2 of the front 3 spark plugs were gree...WTF?! Could it be addititve?

My car is been running like shit (very very slow) and I don't know what it could be. Would replacing the spark plugs make a difference?

The car can be describe as feeling heavy. I'm not used to this, my best was a 15.2!!!! And at the track I was at 16's!!!

I'm going crazy. I got bored so I retimed my car thinking maybe I'll hit a jackpot but no, car seems a bit slower now, well about the same. I guess i was hoping for a BOOM or something.

ANother symptom is some knocking, mainly when decelerating. What could THAT be?!

Maybe there is a coolant leak into the cylinder? I would replace the spark plugs and clean out the hole. Sounds like its mis firing as well so hopefully that is your only issue. Im not sure about green on the tip though.

Since he said 16's at the track, I think he was using a gtech for the 15.2. Still, those numbers don't sound all that bad for an older (high mileage) dohc auto car, especially if you still have an issue or two to work out. When you say 16's, are we talking high or low?

16 flat was my personal best but i got a 15's speedtrap...86.796mph

Wow when you guys described my car it made me feel kinda depressed. Lol. Here's another thing to it, its a 4DR!! :-D

The only way coolant leaks into the cylinder would be through a busted headgasket correct? Now here's what I'm worried about. Water does not compress, so wouldn't coolant in the cylinder actually be killing the rings and anything within the combustion chamber?

You would have white smoke out the tailpipe if you were burning coolant though. You would also notice your coolant level being low so I doubt thats it.

wow, just pulled all 6 and 4 of them have that greenish-yellowish stuff covering the white part and on 3 of them, the electrode.

My friend, you should be looking for a vacuum leak. Looks like you are pulling outside moisture. Doesn't sound like an intake gasket though, since it is affecting more than 1 plug. Check your vacuum lines. Specifically the PCV line. Coolant won't rust your plugs.

You should also look into setting the camera to the close setting for the auto focus (it's a flower icon on my Olympus), lol.
