Tim, thanks! I am enjoying it but until I put some more miles on it I'm still a little paranoid that something is going to break or go wrong. Hopefully it will hold together and I will be able to enjoy it for many miles.

I added a slightly longer video with improved camera work, less shaky and not zoomed in. Engines still running great with no issues at 12 psi. I'm starting to get used to it though

Thanks! I took it to a huge cruise-in down in Atlanta over Labor day weekend and no one knew it was a Fiero except for the real hard core car guys. They were sure scratching their heads when they looked at the engine compartment. I was too busy checking out the other cars to hang out and talk about my car though. Had a lot of fun with my friend and his Cobra on the drive over there, he couldn't believe how fast my car was. He is contemplating building a turbo Cobra now.

I have seen Fiero kits, they usually look like a 5yr old put them together on the road, and after seeing that car, I would nolonger classify it as a Fiero anymore. Plus usuallly they have an exotic kit on them, and then the interior and engine are all stock and falling apart.
That is my favorite kit though for those cars, it looks and performs so good you would fool most every person.1995 Pontiac GTP
Over $12K invested, and still its slow. Maybe thats because thats most all repairs. Don\'t knock the engine though, because thats the only part that has seemed to last.

I agree. Kit cars got a bad reputation for good reason - they cut corners and tried to give an illusion that thge cars were something other than what they really were. Any number of VW based Canam wannabes attest to that.
The Fiero is well suited to being rebodied - it has a good angle on the windshield that approximates several of the cars you might want to copy, and the body panels come off easily to allow replacements. It is a big let down to see, say a Lamborghini kit (some of which used a real Lambo windshield) left with a stock Fiero interior, but most builders seem to run out of creative juice (or money) when they get to the interior.
Your replica looks very nice and doesn't have the stock Fiero engine, to boot.
I've owned things that were close to being kit cars (raced a 1962 TVR for years) and still own one that is a kit car - a Fibrefab Jamaican body on a 1956 MGA, which I repowered using a 3.4 GM V6, as it happens. Left it at about 200 BHP as the car only weighs 2000 lbs., although thoughts of doing it up as a 300 BHP turbo (as I use in my steet 88 GT) did cross my mind. Like you, I left the car looking as if it could be the real thing - but people wouldn't be too sure just which real thing it was.
