Well, a couple guys have. But the cost apparently has been about $1000.00 if you do it yourself but that incudes ceramic coating. As far as preformance numbers I personally haven't seen any. I believe a couple Fiero guys have done them and have numbers to back them. Someone around here will know.

I won't be able to do them on my own, I don't have the engine or anything yet, I'm going to start collecting that this summer if I do decide to go with it (3.4 DOHC of SBC w/ FI). If I did, I'm getting a crate motor of a 95 or older due to the diffrences. Anyone sell these yet....?

I built headers for my car, and the cost was well above 1000. This is why I will not mass produce them. I have pics, go to http://www.dykz34.com/images/headers/

So it can be done, but is was a lot of work. In the end, it was worth it.

I have made a set for my Fiero. I design them and a pro build them. there where for like 700, plus I bring the flanges and collectors. That engine sound amazing. Its like a nascar car @ high rpms. HEehhe ppl thiks its a V8 but they go to shock when I tell them its a V6, they dont believe it.

Not to be a dick head , but aaron what the hell cost you 1000$ to make them. I made a quad DOHC header n it cost me bout 300$ n that was with screwing up 1.5 millions time n bout 30 ft of aluminized pipe in various sizes. I worked at a custom exhaust shop and had things more avaliable to me..but still 1000$ isnt worth headers by any means. Please explain to me the total of 1000$... And where these jet coated or..some form of heat treaded. Im currently workin on 3.4 headers myself.

A lot of FULL length headers have been tryed , why no Shorty style headers? What kind of demision in primarys and such are needed? I'm curious to see if there any people in NJ/PA willing to team up and help make a set. I have non mendral pipe bender at my shop n 2 welders w/asorted pipe.

Ya, I have no idea how Aaron spent $1000 on his headers. The kit cost $400. How do you rack up $600 in misc. expenses? (Unless you had to buy a welder! lol)

Yah you will need to buy mandrel bent pipes.

Shorty's do us little good, we can fit full length, but only me and kickin have done so.

I think a quad 4 header might be a little different, including WAY less pipe, easier design, only 1 collector, smaller primary diameter pipe, etc.

                              400-pipe
                              200-coating
100-welding equipment(new mask, the weld, gas, etc)
200-I had to have a Stud drilled out, i tried EVERYTHING, including drilling it, but couldn't get it out.

And then just other things, $40 gaskets, $40 in all new bolts/studs, $10 in new radiator line, and $60 in new plug wire(burned it)

Sure i only planned on spending 600 or so, but shit happens. I don't know how in hell that stud got in there, but it wouldn't come off. And also, I coulda spent a lot less, but I did it right. Everything works perfect and the ehaders clear everything. It isn't half assed.
