I was reading some information and came across this picture and caption (right side)
It shows an LQ1 injector spray pattern and it has two cones. I verified by looking up information in my old 1991 3.4 Manual and sure as hell it mentions the dual spray pattern. It makes sense that they're shooting a cone at each intake valve, but I'd never thought about it.
My problem is my car has had L32 injectors spliced in place by a previous owner. I'm thinking that despite the L32's being larger, they're likely counterproductive being that these are just shooting a single cone in between the valves and pooling up on the intake before getting sucked in, and that putting stockers back in would be just as good and maybe give some fuel economy to boot if they do create better atomization.
What's everyone's thoughts on this/ any experiences with injector use on these engines.
