Truth of the matter is I don't have to worry about traction issues in colorado with my car.. She doesn't start to get it untill ~3000Rpm's. by then im already moving and the turbo eases into power and never even squeek the tires...

So I take it you dont have it spooled up befor the tree drops?

      96 Z34 3.4 SC DOHC Getrag, 284 5sd manual transmission, stage 3spec clutch, 97 engine, 97 pcm, S3 intercooler 1 of 1 Roots SC LQ1 in the world 8.5 psi.

Power braking it as hard as it will go i do see ~2psi when the lights drop. T4 turbo +5800ft elev. = lag. I did on my last pass of the year get one tire broke lose and burned the hell out of it, i tried feathering it to hook but no go... I think there was some water on the track where i launched and caused it to spin initially..

For you guys at low altitude you cant understand how much the LQ1 dogs with the auto in thin air.. Like i mentioned, traction is about the only thing i never have to worry about. untill ~3500 rpms it is most definatly not exciting lol

Ouch Didnt read your elevation befor that does put you at a disadvantage. You may need a smaller turbo so you can spool faster?

nah, think i might start ordering parts and making tubular manifolds, new x-over and mandrel Dp and eventually a new twin scroll turbo housing for my turbo.

Havn't been following your build, are you running proper OBDII or is it the 94-95 OBD1.5 style? I do have some interesting things for the OBD1.5 computers.

Shane is OBDII, but do elaborate...

Oh, nothing too special... Mode 4 control via ALDL, which is very useful for dynoing if you have an Automatic. Also, I have almost perfected activating the Manual transmission section of the code, with a somewhat working shift light. But I have nothing for OBDII. It's actually a very flexible code, so I am a bit suprised when people opt to upgrade to OBDII, not that there is anything wrong with that (obviously it works well!)

only reason i went to OBDII is cause no one does tuning for OBD1.5 and i don't need to know anything other then what the settings in the stock bin file do and how to change them with the DHP software, plus there is alot of support for the OBDII programers.

Plussh it Lookshh SHuper Shweet on my mod Lishht!!!
