OK I am on my 4th Walbro pump. I am ordering a stock one just because of the fact this is the 4th one that has gone bad in 8k miles. Anyone have any issues with these? Is there an alternative pump? Racetronix?

The F2000169 had problems, I went through 2 of them.
I recall reading a while back that there were some counterfeit WALBRO pumps floating around. I haven't been able to drive my car enough yet to see if I'll have the same problem. I also heard someone complain about failure after letting it sit for a while which is what mine is doing now. I have a second inline version that hasn't been installed yet.
Holley and Racetronics are walbro pumps... I had a 255LPH HP fail on me a few years ago, no problems sence. why that AFPR? with a tune you shouldnt need higher fuel pressure.

I would like to bump the fuel PSI a little. The factory is not enough for me IMO. The walbro pump I have now is putting out 33psi. Its died on me twice, just stopped putting out fuel.
Order from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ these are the real walbro's I have one from there in my 95 that I put in back in 07 and haven't had any issues... probably about 50k worth of miles. I also just bought one for the 96 and thats been good the whole time... Only issues I had with it was the fact that I made my in tank line too long and it kinked on me. But other than that it supports 63PSI fuel rail pressure PLUS a 100 wet shot of nitrous.
I have a walbro in my 88 L body style tank. It was a 99% drop in. Working fine and I feed leaded fuel (not by choice) through it at times and it sits not in use for months at a time.

ive ran the 255LPH High Pressure in both my cars without problems... the inlets for the pump is a tad large so it takes a little streching and squeezing to get it to fit in the stock sending unit but i have not had any issues.

Why? i thought that was build into the pump already? to keep pressure on the line/rails/injectors so you don't have to prime the pump every time you start it?
