  • Help! need $8f .ads definition file for 9396 pcm

I'm in the process of getting my turbo 3.4 dohc tuned and the tech is having a hard time seeing the pcm via the aldl for datalogging. I have an $8f mask prom burned by Ryan Gick aka Darth Fiero/sinister performance in a 9396 PCM. I haven't been able to get in touch with Ryan so far. does anyone here have any useful info or .ads and .xdf files that would work?
    Thanks,
    Lance

$8F wide band .ads (if you have your wb02 going through your ecm)

Awesome! thanks for the help. I may be going to a 7727 pcm though. Can't get the 9693 to cooperate.

Update for anyone that's interested. I ended up using the 7727 ecm with the addition of an $8f bin that someone was kind enough to give me (thanks Jake). The dyno tech never could figure out how to data log and emulate at the same time. After a couple trying a couple of different burned chips nothing was better than the original .bin file. It was either too rich or too lean. Bottom line is that it makes 285 rwhp on 7 psi as it is right now. The idle is still a likes to hunt around and it stalled a few times when I push in the clutch coming to a stop. It pulls hard up to just over 6000 rpm and then it falls on its face. I think it's got a lot more potential since it's running really rich on boost right now. My wideband AFR reads around 10 when it's in the boost. I don't have any experience tuning but I'm going to give it a go. Has anyone had luck emulating and burning with the Moates APU-1? or is the Ostrich and a seperate burner the way to go. Anyone try the Promulator?
