  • Fuel Pumps

Any idea what fuel pumps can be swapped in to my stock housing without any issues?

I am looking to upgrade the fuel system in anticipation of more requirements for my engine build.

    Any suggestions?

    Corvette? Truck etc?

Ive been told you will need larger injectors, better fpr and a good tune if you upgrade the pump. I dont think its really worth it unless your running boost.

all/Most GM fuel pumps are the same dimentions. I also have a Walbro 255LPH... It fits in exactly like the stock pump. just be carefull when installing it not to bend the float or your fuel guage will be off. i ran the 255lph HP (high Pressure) because i had a FMU that jacks the fuel pressure way up and the HP will not fall off as much as the 255 standard. it fits but the inlet to the fuel pump is much larger...shes a tight fit.

just get one for a Camaro or corvette. it is the same plugs and what not.

i suppose getting it from the dealer would be the best?

AC Delco fuel pump at Summit

Summit has a large list of Delco pumps for sale. That one is pretty cheap and has Corvette as well as many fullsize pickups listed for direct replacement.

I'm not totally sure which ones they have that will definitely fit, but I have heard that the ones from a Camaro or Corvette will fit in a W-body and other applications. Judging by the amount of pumps they have available I'm certain they have something that fits. Plus it's an AC Delco, so you don't have to worry about reliability!
