I realized now I did not read your reply correctly in regards to the wires.

    Sorry about that!

What you mentioned about the hole in the coil is true,

ANY coil that gets shorted out is VERY dangerous!
They can even blow sending melted plastic all over if there very high voltage.

Well I always find people who are ready to put down the quality of a product are easier to find then those promoting it.

I hereby promote MSD. I have had the coils on my car for a year now. Temp Ranges of -48deg Celsius to +38deg C (not under hood). I have pressure washed my engine 5 times and mine still work fantastic. As a matter of fact I may just remove then and test them to see how they are working with my Multi Meter.

      I stand behind MSD products.

I stand behind MSD products. Just not the 2 tower coil. Think it needs more R&D. My second coil died after 30K miles at about 2 years old. My advice to you is keep a spare coil in your car and a multimeter.

Thats just to create a ground loop for each wire to lower Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI), but with most wires, you don't get any EMI to the other electronics and radio anyway. Your fine if you use a larger dia. wire.

Those are pretty nice looking wires, how much did they set you back? If I may ask that is.
