What is the best spk plug wire the stocks are aftermarket?

Magnecor are probably the best you can get, and they have a lifetime warranty to boot.

I don't understand what you are saying here, since the wires go from the coil to the spark plug the plug is grounded though the block. What independent ground is needed??

What? An independent ground for each spark plugs? There is no reason at all to add ground to every plug.

Or any plug at all for that madder. You can add a better ground between the battery and the cyl heads.

Here I went searching for the post I made last Xmas. This is a complete write up I did on making your own MSD wires. Hope this helps you out. BTW Buy all your parts from Hayes Performance, David will treat you right.

MSD coils come with a guarantee to fail. I have had 2 die on me completely. One running a MSD ignition system. Other under stock ignition system.

Sory man but thats to much work and money for no gain over a set of Magnicores. The Magnicore wire performance gain is debatable. Do you have an o-ring seal on the front spark plug boots? That's so that you don't have sand and water get down in the holes.

That has NOTHING to do with WHAT wires you use!!!!!!!!!

You could use wires from Hong Kong for all I care and it WILL NOT be the reason OR cause of what you have pictured above!

I have seen that coil picture a dozen times and NO OFFENCE

                        BUT

                        ANY COILS...

                        MSD
                        ACCEL
                        AEM

                        CHEAP AFTERMARKET

                        EVEN GM

YES, AC DELCO coils WILL do that which you have shown above IF DO NOT USE the seals provided by MSD and use dielectric grease on the conections.

I HAVE SEEN THE EXACT SAME THING happen, EVEN when the coils and adapters were installed right and the individual had pressure washed the engine and sprayed the front side of the coils and adapters!

99.9% of the time when I see something like that it's NOT a faulty product IF and I say IF! it was new, installed correctly AND came with ALL THE REQURIED HARDWARE.

I have seen this happen when they have been purchased USED and the seals are damaged, missing or miss-installed.

ONLY WATER OR CONDENSATION WOULD HAVE DONE WHAT YOU PICTURE ABOVE AND I CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURE:

                        - NO DIELECTRIC GREASE ON THE CONNECTIONS
                        - THE SEALS ON THE ADAPTERS HAVE BEEN EXCESSIVELY TRIMED

MSD will tell you the same thing IF you send the pictures to them.

Again Dave, NO OFFENCE, I'm not trying to start something, it just that what is shown IS NOT A PRODUCT FAULT!!!!!

The Nology wires I had have a bare braided wire with an eyelet for each wire used for ground.

I never once said the wire were at fault re read it! And the second failure that I don't have a pic of the other side of the coil blew a hole in the casing out word and started to burn. Like some one shot it with a 45.
