    Most stock 3400's when tuned propperly with OBD1 put down just shy of 200 WHP in a jbody 5 speed configuration. They do upgrade the intake and the exhaust downpipe which might be helping.

    Midnight's 3400 wasn't stock, he had ported heads, turbo headers and some other random work.. but yes, 358 WHP. I dyno'd at 275 WHP w/o a turbo
    Past Builds;
    1991 Z24, 3500/5 Spd. 275WHP/259WTQ 13.07@108 MPH
    1989 Camaro RS, ITB-3500/700R4. 263WHP/263WTQ 13.52@99.2 MPH
    Current Project;
    1972 Nova 12.73@105.7 MPH

      I would almost agree with it being unbelievable, but we're talking Gen 3 stuff, the mpfi's would need more boost (not that much more though) to get those numbers.

      And you're flirting with 12 second territory. Whens the 12 second slip coming btw SuperDave?

      What power levels would you think is needed for a solid 12.9X run? You're using slicks right?

          It's been driven a few times since then, never over 3K RPM. I'm saving whatever it has left for the track. I'm at peace with the fact that it might need a tow truck to get it home.

          Yes, Slicks. the car weighs maybe 2700 lbs with me in it, so that + 275 WHP should equal high 12's on a perfect run. I'm still chirping the slicks going into 2nd gear.

            Glad to see you are comfy with killing it where it can die with honor if need be
