Hey if you're about fucking around with plug wires like that, all the power to ya. I'll just buy mine. May not be as economical a choice, but I didn't have to take out a second mortgage either.

I used the stock boots, you dont have to -there is prolly an aftermarket boot that would fit into the plastic retainers. Use non petro based lube to get the wire through. I think I bought my bulk wire from jegs or summit, cant remember its been a while. I do remember it was somethin like $32 for a 30 foot roll I think.

I have used accel wires, the make your own kind and they lasted 10-15k. The magnecore wires have 75k or so on them now. Im using POS autozone wires until I can afford to go magnecor.

You can get 3 coil packs for about 65 bucks at advance or auto zone that are just as good as stock from what I can tell. I ran the DIS-4 for a while and it didnt do me any good at the track. The only thing its good for is the timing controls for nitrous. With boost you need a way to tune the computer anyway so its not really worth getting.

I checked the Magnecor website and you can get the 8 mm wires part # 60166 for 91-93 Z-34 Luminas for $140.64 according to the Magnecor site. The 8.5mm go for $221.17 Part # 65166, these prices are off the website but I think the last time the site was updated was 2001. I havent called Magnecor yet to find out if those prices are still in effect.
If it\'s fun, it\'s probably illegal and if it\'s illegal I\'m probably doing it.
