Hey Everybody,
I just want to double check something. To get the advance intake 6* and the retard exhaust 6* , a person ON THE CRANK, WITH THE CAM GEARS LOOSE, with a degree wheel, the balancer at the mark and the degree wheel on 0, would have to turn (clockwise) the crank to 6* BEFORE TDC, LOCK CAM GEAR ON THE INTAKE and then turn the crank to 6* AFTER TDC, and lock the CAM GEAR ON THE EXHAUST? (on the same rotation for front cams)
Then I can rotate the crank 2 rotations and put the balancer on the mark and loosen the arms on the cam adjustment tool ( I was doing this cause I don't know where +3/-3 is on the tool) and tighten the arms where they sit with the tool tightened to the cam carrier.
I then have my tool set to true +3/-3 and cam just turn the engine 1 rotation and put the tool on the rear cam carrier and tighten both Cam gears. DONE.
I just want to be 100% sure.... I don't like being a know it all.........
Thanks!!!
