Looking through my excel files I found the worksheet I made with the stock specs, 13 degree retard, and the regrind specs that were recommended by alan johnson. Ill dig up the regrind specs after I copy paste this mofo.
Intake lift: .372
Exhaust lift: .384
Seat to Seat Specs
IVO: 23 BTDC
IVC: 67 ABDC
EVO: 71 BBDC
EVC: 29 ATDC
Those are actual specs that they can do. Thats 270 intake duration and 280 exhaust duration seat to seat. They did mention advancing one cam a few degrees and retarding the other a few, 2 and 3 or 3 and 4 I think. Someone else can play around with that if they want. That should give you a general idea of how far the regrind can go though for duration and lift, give some duration, take some lift and so on. Quick comparison, stock is 242 degrees duration for intake and 253 duration on the exhaust. Thats 28 degrees more for intake and 27 for exhaust. Thats "advertised duration" though, its the .050 specs that really matter. I dont have those for the regrind though so I dunno what that info is worth to anyone playing with DD2K and wondering what the .050 specs on a regrind could be.Ben

DD2k is showing almost the same numbers as the w41 specs, but with 1-2 more hp and tq over rpm range until about 6-7k where it loses 1 or 2...
with 2 intake adv and 3 exhaust ret it loses 3-4, but at 6,500RPM+ it gains 3-4 (at 8,000 it gains 10)
with 3 adv and 4 ret it loses over entire range
nothing will show an 80 hp gain (in DD) untill headers are added
but as sappy said, the #s are measured seat to seat while w41 is @.050 and niether are exact and on top of that it is just a simulation so there will be a bunch innacuracies
I like the new specs though

Supposedly someone had a while back, over a year ago. I sorta have my doubts though cause the guy wanted me to tune his car but he never replied when I asked him about the cam. If you needed your car tuned cause of custom cams, would you stop talking to me cause I asked you about the cams? I think not.Ben

Gemmer: when you run these simulations, are you putting in any other variables? Or is everything stock? You mentioned getting 80hp when headers are added. That is a big change, I assume that you did ONLY the new cam #s and then headers? Anything else? Intake manifold, for example? I am quite interested in the Mike Smith intake and wonder if there is some way to plug THAT into DD? somehow....??

yea, only cam #s on a stock engine, then sometimes I play around to see what other changes do.
Some of the specs arent too accurate, like if he runs short runners, it might be hard to input, but if you tell me the what % greater than stock CFM an intake flows I or someone else can punch in the #s and give a general idea

I would say this is it, http://www.reedcams.com/ Then again, that doesn't say Atlanta, but doesn't Atlanta have different parts kinda like L.A. and other major huge ass cities?-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
