It's kind of legal. I have a cat and a test pipe. I can run either one. Right now, I'm running the test pipe. Beyond that, the EGR is disconnected. So if I went to a relaxed test site with the cat, I would probably be okay. If I went somewhere strict, it probably wouldn't pass. Luckily, South Dakota has no emissions testing.

Who made this exhaust, and what was the final price?

I can tell you right now, both exhasut systems for me, one for me one for my brohter are gonna run around 1g. Now I am using all SS piping, SS mufflers(magnaflow), SS flanges,SS resonator(magnaflow), SS tips and SS welding. I am also having it made with a mandrel bender, so there are not 40 pieces of pipe welded together. If anyone wants a 2.5 or 3" exhasut let me know, I am going next weekend to get it bent. It will ost around 300 for the pipe and to have it bent then you can add muffs and what not.

Tell me more young lad. The way I do math that's $500.00 per exhaust system. Now is that 304 stainless? I agree with your opinion on the mandrel bends. That LOOKS RIGHT. Pieces look like something my daughter brings home as a class project. I'm needing a cat back in 2.5 304. When you get yours bent up, please let me know how it fits and works. I have a 92 Cutlass Supreme S with a 3.4 LQ1 with manual Getrag. Let me know what exactly the specs are on the cat back system. I am willing to compensate you for your time. Thanks for any assistance you can render. sisal@comcast.net

Here is the deal, its T409 tubing and all the rest of the parts are T304. I am having the whole thing done next weekend so I can shoot pics up saturday night of the final outcome. The tips I think we are going to use are PYPES EVT52 or EVT28 not sure what one yet. The price for the tubing is $130 and thats for 10 feet, then bending at $80 so that $210 and thats with a resonator and mufflers. If you dont want a Resonator then the price for the tubing will go up but you will save on the resonator. Personally I added a 22" resonator and I used all the best parts. When I do my exhasut for the 3" I will go the same route, but take the cat out and add another resonator. So I think a fair price would be $350. If you send me the flange for the cat, I will have it welded on so its perfect and will be stainless welding so no rusty joints later on down the road. If you really want to get in on this I am going to have it done next weekend, so that would be the best time, because I am doing the 3" later on like 3 weeks down the road. It will fit like factory so there will be no worries with it saggin or looking like poop.

That sounds like a deal to me with resonator and mufflers. I know this system, like exactly where the 22.5 resonator will fit, and you need just less than 8 ft of pipe in 409 If all your other components are 304, then there really is relatively little to worry about in the rust department. So verify all I have to add is my choice of tips? Those I can procure locally. Tell me are your mufflers 14's, 16's, 18's. I felt in looking at this as a project, 14's with a resonator would keep harmonics down just fine and not add unnecessary weight to the system. Keep me and other interested parties posted on specs and progress. I can fly/drive depending on distance to your location for pick-up and to share a beer. Hopefully you drink beer. 732-236-2452.
                          Best regards,
                          Lloyd

$350 is for the piping, not the mufflers and what not.

Ohh, I see where you got confused. The costs that I said up a couple post is for the piping with the mufflers and resonators in the system, not the actual parts. It will be cut out for the parts, but not include them.
