  • i saw this in mexico

few weeks ago ,i went to mexico and notice there was a lot of w-body cars
and one caught my attention .this one was bought by a woman ,she say "that she had bought about 6-7 years or more ago in dallas.
i was talking to her husband about the car and he said that as far as he knew the timing belt has never been change ,had never had a oil leak ,the only problem he ever had was a sensor that keep the car from turning over he change it and no more problems.all he ever did change oil and tune up regularly .this is a lq1 i thought it was amazing .i took some pics. notice is still tx. registar
the reason is cause they go all over north carolina ,ga. for work all the time putting way over 100,000 miles doing that.what you think?

almost forgot this is a 93 gtp
i just love to watch the wheels turn around and around

Motor was replaced probably before. Looks like the front mount is bent a little.

That is a 1 in the first number slot. And that's not that surprising. I had a GTP once with 215,000 miles on it. Original everything worked, timing belt had been done at some point but not by me, all it ever needed was a new ICM.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

that is a 1 in front ,and is good that oldskoolgp second that ,it is the original engine and i am a bit thoughtful about the timing belt ,but again the couple said they had way over 100,000 miles without changing the belt.i just think is wonderful to know that the lq1 with good maintance can handle even those conditions (mexico).

judging from the manifold it looks to be an auto.

                manuals rule and autos drool.
