  • Custom made fuel connectors

I made these connectors, take a look. I took the old hose off the stock connectos and cut the ends off. I then ordered special -4an weld on fittings and am having it welded at my machine shop. I think the braided ss line will do better with the turbo and wount break down. It you want some made PM me.

They are undersized especially for a turbo.
The stock fuel lines are 3/8" (-6 AN) for the feed and 5/16" (-5 AN) for the return.
I would have made them both -6 AN.

They make fittings you can use right on your stock line by cutting and using a compression fitting. Earl's is one brand, but there are some less expensive anodized fittings available.

Shoot a pic up please. The stock fuel connectors are that special connector that snaps into place. I just ordered the 6an fittings and am returning the 4an lines for 6an.

I took the stock connector and had a new hose added and crimped on using a compression fitting.

gotta be carefull too, i think there are small o-rings inside the stock connector that keep it from leaking. so don't cut them off and don't melt them when you weld it.

                  AN compression fittings.

The T is for my nitrous solenoid feed.

It's a shame that my steel braided lines leaked fuel... It like soaked through them for some reason. I'm thinking I didn't assemble them properly.

I need to remake them or buy premade ones

Just don't collapse your feed line like the one in the second pic that was poorly bent.. thats not going to flow too well.

Um, those are all factory bends... I'm not worried.

Okay now, that's enough of that.

I've never seen a factory bend where the pipe was crushed like this. That is definitely a restriction to flow. No point in having a -6 pipe when your bends reduce it to -4.. You should probably cut it back and rebend it or make a new line.
