any one know where i can get a 180 stat for the cutlass..... and is it bad to put a cooler stat in these moters

I have heard that going too low can accelerate cylinder wall wear. But I am talking about something like a 160 stat. 180 would be the lowest I would go. I thought I heard about someone finding one at a parts store for a Camaro w/ 3.4 pushrod engine that would work, but I am not positive.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
