One of the monte Carlo Z34 guys did it. im looking for pics.
my bad. just read the post again. didn't see the part about putting the charger not on the top.
To answer your question, i doubt you have enough room anywhere else to put the blower anywhere else other then on top. Thats why everyone is turboing their cars.
I am trying to convince PWmin to guy a centrifical s/c for his 1990 GTP and we would fab up some mounting brackets. I think there is enough room to run a centrifical charger but not a roots.Last edited by RedZMonte; 07-06-2007, 02:16 PM.Shane "RedZMonte"

M90s fine you dont need to make to much boost with a lq1 to beat the l67 numbers and a whipple would beat the shit out of a mp112 any day.Last edited by Dave96z34; 07-06-2007, 01:22 PM.

Something like this would be the best. Colder intake temps, belt driven (no lag), efficent and compact. Great mix between turbo and supercharger. Paxton, Vortec and Powerdyne all make these types. RSM used to make a S/C for DOHC's back in the day i think using a Vortec.

ahh the Supercharged SHO. 350WHP with ease.
I always dream about putting a Centrifugal on a DOHC. Something to give the SHO a nice CHALLENGE. But since I got a different ride, it's been hard to drop money on it. Paxton would be the choice for me.
Yeah I would definitely try to copy the 3x00 style. The arm should be about the proper length for our engine since they're pretty much the same block. Then you work from there.

350WHP is sick. But that much power in a FWD car is useless. You'd never be able to use all of the horses except at the strip with a pair of slicks. Honestly, I think for ability to use all your power 300HP is the max on a W-body, probably 250HP on a J-body.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.
