It sure wouldn't stay 400-500 degrees for long if splashed with water.

I bet that fucked his turbo fast, going from 400-500 to 50 in a matter of seconds. Damn. And I bet it did more to that than bending a rod too.

Nope, it bent the #1 rod only. Do you think I'm making this up? How long does it take to boil water? It's not insantaneous. Goddamnit...

Helps keep the air cool, and more dense.
I am having trouble believing any amount of water could get by the turbo without evaperating.
A little water would evaporate, but if you had a bunch of water, it's not going to evaporate, kinda like where Dave was talking about boiling water isn't instantaneous, Goddamnit, lmao.

              flextube

Where can I get that flextube stuff I hear about? Is it the same as used for clothes dryer?

Is everybody using 3" intake tube?

              Thanks

the tube i had was 4in. but it came with a kit from air inlent systems for my old monte. but it is fairly common. i think it is close to dryer tube if not the same. if u can't get it anywhere else i can give u the number for ais.

Ive dropped a red glowing clay brick (from a wood burning stove) in a giant bucket of water (about 10 gallons) and the whole bucket instantly started boiling the second the brick hit it...and the pillar of opaque steam leads me to believe alot of it evaporated almost instantly too

but then again, that brick was prolly well over 800s
