Camaro pulley in Lumina Z34

  • Camaro pulley in Lumina Z34

    I have been looking elsewhere to find an underdrive pulley for my Lumina Z34 since FFP has discontinued theirs. All I am able to find is the pulley's for Camaro's with the 3.4L, does anyone know if that same pulley will work in my Z34?

    wow, news to me didn't know about ffp.

    also explains the threads of peeps looking for ud pullies i keep seeing too.

      3.4L camaros are a 3400SFI not a DOHC. so no you cant use that pulley. i heard another guy is going to be making them. Pwmin knows who.

          I notice that there are two pulleys available, "25% Crank 900 RPM " and "25% Crank 23% Alternator 1100 RPM " do you happen to know what the differances in the two are? Also, those both say for camaro/firebird, as well as the ones on websites such as summitracing.

            3.4 camaro is not a 3400. It is a 3.4

            the 3400 is a GEN 3. (no sleep in 28 hours, so brain has temperarily gone ka-boingy....... boingy..... boingy)

            There are 3 different engines with 3.4

            3.4 camaro
            3.4 DOCH
            3400.
            Taylor

              I understand that, but my question stands, will an UDP for a 3.4 Camaro fit in my 3.4 DOHC Lumina?

                Like i said in my 1st post. NO. You cannot use a camaro pulley. completely different motors. Will not fit.

                    i only see 2 but theyre the same PN and it says 20%

                      making replacement billet UD crank pullies. if there are already 2 or more people already making them, i see no point in having them made to sell.

                      i would only comission something to be made if no1 else made it as i am just a consumer that knows a cnc machinist and i cannot compete with any company that gets better rates on production and whatnot.

                        oh, i see. well, if you could come under 100 (michael was like 80-something), then you would probably sell a lot. supposedly, the mrz ones will be 100-110 plus 25 to have them anodized. the asp ones are 120.
