I was wanting to know if anybody makes a cat back exhaust for my 91 z34, that is a little louder than stock but not screaming for attention. if not what are good sounding mufflers for the stock exhaust minus the cat.

Magnaflow mufflers IMO sound very good, also borla sound very good.

i know that flowmasters sound good on an all iron 2.8 with manifolds and true duals. i forget which muffler it was, i know it was a dual in, dual out. but it had 2-2 1/2 ft. of tail pipe, not like the lumina.

I use a pair of Borla Pro XS's, and I just had a custom 2 1/2" with mandrel bends installed. Didn't change the sound any, but the muffler flow is balanced like it should be now. You can hear it all the way down a 1/4 mile strip, but it's pretty reasonable in town and at low speed.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.Comment
