  • Finished the Intake

    Just need to mount it. Not bad for my first ever custom car part. The whole thing is solid steel, the car can get into an accident and get crushed into a little cube, but I promise you that intake will never break!!

      looks good, i like the little extra mile you went through to paint the MAF. if i had a MAF car i would "borrow" that idea.

        I was a real bi*** I had to paint it twice, removing the first paint.. my kid dropped the parts on the concrete and while I was painting them, the sandflies for some reason thought that fresh paint would be a good place to mate.

          Looks pretty good, I know what it is like, I have four kids .

          Looks like you used an exhaust bend? I used them for my entire turbo fab, my buddy has an auto shop with a bender capable of 2.5" pipe and only charged me $20 per 10 ft (cost of pipe) and showed me how to use the bender "bend away" he says.

            looks very nice, did you use some sort of blumbing rubber couplers?
            what are they called again ? lol i was thinking of doing something similar
