Mmmm K. So i need to add a Map sensor? do i get a stock map, 2bar, 3bar or what? the stock one doesn't do boost from what i understand... would a TGP map (2bar i think) or a Grand National (3bar i think) work? it looks like a 2bar will work for what i need. I got the 2bar TGP and i will giver a try

GM 1 Bar Map: N/A engines
GM 2 Bar Map: up to 14.5psi (12569241)
GM 3 Bar Map: up to 30 psi

Yes. You would probably want a stock one plus a check valve. The 2 and 3 bars don't seem to work with any PCM bin's other than the L67 - even with the PowrTuner.

OK, so the latest update is i have a stock map in and hooked up and both Knock sensors as well. the OBDII DLC is in and working . I have the 42.5# injectors ready for install, prob. sunday they will be in and Paul is helping me with the tuning. then she is off to dyno tune and will finally eliminate the FMU.

LMAO! and only 2 codes not bad for the first start. Evap purge sollinoid (not hooked up) and EGR (also not hooked up).

OBD 1.5 w/ FMU 5-6psi i made ~270hp and 250tq... Anyone want to make some bets on what i can get with a proper tune? Not sure if im crankn the boost up yet or not... Im hopen for 300 whp/wtq with a tune. I will need to open up the exhaust a little before turnin the boost up.

With Pwmin's help we got the injectors swaped and the FMU out. We also got the ECM reflashed to a 1996 GTP and did a few scans. everything looked good. Thanks to PWMIN we did a little tuning via DHP Powertuner. We did get some KR ~9* at 4200 rpm so we pulled some timing out up top and added a little fuel. but for the most part everything went pretty smooth. Now i need to get an apt setup to do some fine tuning and get it dynoed. we just made it safe to drive.

One guy tried to cut his own reluctors into a cam IIRC, I think it worked. But for the effort you might as well go with 94-up cams.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

okay, thanks. yeah, thats too much work since its better to pull the cams to do that anyway. ill either use my 96 cams or find some 94/95 since theres oh-so-slightly more aggressive (i think, lol). i think im going to go 0/-10 instead of 0/-13 when i do it.
