  • 96+plus intake swap

I have a couple questions. I am trying to fit the 96+ intake on my 92 3.4, and I believe it will clear my headers. So what all do I need from the 96 engine?

    I figure new plenum, etc.

Do I need the 96 lower intake and fuel injection system too?
What do I do about the MAP to MAF swap? Do I use the maf or what?
Will my current throttle cables still work and will CC still work?

    Thanks guys!

u will need upper and lower manifolds and the fuel rail. u can still use your map it will plug in on the same side of the plenum as it does now just only 1 of the holes will line up for it to hold down, u can either just leave the 96 egr on there or make a plate for it cvause your computer will not control it

Cool. I will make a EGR block off plate than, and I guess I will just leave the MAF sensor off. Good I didn't want it anyways. But now I will have 96 injectors-which may solve my stalling problem. I took a good look, and the 96+ intake has runners which are about 4" shorter than my current. This is awesome because ti is aimed directly at the high end. Woohoo.

I have 92 injectors in my 96 fuel rail. I also have an EGR bolted to the plenum but it is non functional. My 92 EGR is just "hanging around" while the wire is hooked up to it.
        92 cutty auto with a 97 3.4

        93 convert with 3.4
