  • Custom chip?

I'm looking for a custom chip for my 93 GTP to remove the 3000rpm revlimit in park (It's easier to intimidate people when your engine is screaming at 6500rpm ) and that *STUPID* egr code. Where could I get said EPROM, and how much will it cost me?
Okay now, that's enough of that.

Seems like it would be cheaper to buy an EPROM burner...... $119? ouch.

Have fun doing a chip then. Do you have the code for it? .... didn't think so.

Dave (dyk) is a douche all the time, don't listen to him :P

I dont mean to pimp him out... but talk to Ben (sappyse107) he may be able to help you out for a fair price, if all you want is egr disabled and the neutral rev limiter gone. If you want the performance benefits as well FFP is the chip to get. It's priced well under any competitor and has some real results.

Just put the car in neutral, then you can go all the way.

No, you can't. The limiter is still there in neutral.

Why would someone want to eliminate the limiter for neutral?

My ECM ignores the Neutral Rev Limit after ~25KPH. So, when a long line of cars are waiting to turn left and I have a free lane to the light, I drop it into neutral and "growl" at them . I don't do that often though, since winter is still here in Edmonton (but nice the last few days, eh Lyle?).

I noticed that as well... kinda makes it seem pointless...

Yah, really nice, I cleaned and washed my car. Then took it out for a nice cruise with the windows down. Oh ya! .........Alot better than 40 below 3 weeks ago. No snow or ice on the main roads you can actually rip around a little without killing yourself.

Hey Verboten, when we gonna get together for some beers?
