1st response i always give to this question is what is your budget?

next, how deep do you plan to tear into the car?

last, what type of tranny do you have? auto or manual.

I WANT TO BREAK INTO HIGH MID 15'S. lOOKING FOR MORE BOLT ON APPS. I THINK MY HEAVY CHROME WHEELS HAVE A PLAY IN THIS TOO. AS FOR BUDGET I WOULD LIKE A GOOD HP/$$$ RATIO AND IM RUNNING THE 4T60E I HAVE FOUND THAT IT IS FASTER IF I MAN SHIFT IT AND RUN 2 ALL THE WAY OUT

I would say something along the lines of 96+ intake swap and the Miltzy headers. Also, the FFP UD pulley may help a bit too. If anyone disagrees, let me know, as I kinda new to the LQ1 business too.

your idea of good hp/$$$ ratio may be different than mine. let's come up with a number. 1000? 2000?

it's ok i am not trying to sell you anything but i need to know what you are looking to spend.

id say put it in d and let the tranny shift it. how about powerstalling, you do that?

bolt-on. for starters, get yourself that pulley and dogbone at the same time, save yourself some shipping, port your intakes, relocate one of your mufflers further upstream and run 1 muffler instead of 2. less exhaust backpressure and weight reduction. strip out your trunk, remove the sound crap from under your carpet, get a set of stock wheels or lighter ones for the track, remove those 2 diagonal braces, remove the insulation from underneath the hood, install a full coilover kit, port your exhaust manifolds and crosspipe, change your cam timing and get a chip.

i think that just covered about every bolt-on there is. looks like a little over 2000 there. you could cut corners and drop the coilover kit(900 give or take) i wouldn't worry about the 50,000 coils for now.

          edit: oh and stickier tires
