This is my first post so bear with me. I have a 97 Z34, 157,000 tough michigan miles on it. So far it has a 9" K & N, and 2.5" exhaust with two Borla off road mufflers. I'll get a clip of the exhaust asap. My ques is, is that I pulled the front middle spark plug out and it was saturated in oil...Any ideas? im thinking either cracked head or head gasket ripped.

Probably the O ring either on the cam carrier gasket, or more likely the cam cover gasket. Was it coated on top or on the electrode area?Ben

Actually, I pulled the spark plug boot out, and before removing the spark plug itself, there was oil surrounding the spark plug. Thats on the front of the engine, I checked the other 2, to the left and right of that one and they were bone dry. I havent been able yet to check the back three plugs.Comment

More questions if you guys have time to answer, i'd apreciate it. Has anyone had problems with there gas tanks leaking gas? Everytime I fill up, there is a very strong odor of gas. I put it up on a hoist, didn't see it leaking from the sides or the filler neck. I am hoping its at the top, and maybe get by jb welding it....While i am there, are there aftermarket fuel pumps for our cars? And also after replaceing the rack n pinion, its leaking like a mother lol...I need to get a hold of milzy and order his headers and intakes. Does some1 have is email? Does he come to this site also? Then its off to milan dragway here in michigan.Comment
