Hey guys,
I've just finished drawing up flanges for the 96-97 Z34 intake arm and the 75mm Northstar throttle body in SolidWorks. They're designed to match the ports/gaskets. I left out the details on the tubing size/thickness so that you could choose that yourself. The biggest issue with fabricating the TB arm to mate them is the increase in diameter from 3" at the exit of the TB to 3.5" at the intake. Most 3.5" tubing is 3.5" OD, so the one for the intake side should not be a problem. On the throttle body side, a 3" ID is needed. That flange does not yet take into account the diameter/thickness of the tubing used.
One of the parts is attached. The other is not because it was too big. (308 kb unzipped and 107 kb zipped) I do not have the *.dwg files for these because I have not made them yet. PM me if you're interested in the other one and I will send it to you.
If anybody is interested in making these flanges, let me know. If nobody on here is, I will look for a local shop (or online shop) to build them. Thanks.
Tim
