My opinion, I don't like it. I like the tone of my MPFI.

What summit mufflers did you use? The turbo ones or the straight though ones? I used dynomax super turbo mufflers with 3" dia X 12" long chrome tips and maremont stock replacement pipes with a catco high flow cat on my euro 3.4. It has a nice deep tone and is not real loud but has a nice growl when you step on it. If you are not happy with the summit mufflers i suggest you try the super turbos. The ones i used were p/n 17730 2" offest inlet and 2"center outlet i believe p/n 17731 is the 2.25" offset inlet and 2.25" center outlet.
I love it when a plan comes together!

I'm a Magnaflow fan when it comes to the LQ1. I've had Magnaflows on both of mine, straight throughs on my old Z and chambered on my current Z.

Has anyone tried flowmaster mufflers on an LQ1? 40 or 50 series? I have been curious about how they sound.

Here's what my 3.1 sounds like with Flow-40's It sounds better in real life, but here's a crappy video
'93 Sunbird. 5spd, 3.1, it's fast. Oh, and 240k miles has proven lethal against Turbo Talons

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.
