Yes of course there is. It will just be extremely difficult to make them equal lengh and get 30-40" out of them. I'd run them striaght to the downpipe cutout to hopefully collect underneath the car. I chose to go through the frame for ease of install, and becuz it take sup 30" just getting down there, they they collect and go straight to the Y pipe.

I hear the 13 degree barely hurts the low end...

I guess you could just get a 5 spd
That would be my 91 that proves it. There are a few here that have taken a ride in both my 91 (modded-13* timing, Ben's headwork, 5 speed swap, chip, and K&N drop in put in a gutted airbox) and my 92 (stock engine, K&N drop in put in gutted box, chip, and huge brakes if you have heard of the Z34 with the Vette brakes) back to back, and the difference is VERY noticeable. Bowtiekid's first comments when he rode in the 91 were "Holy shit, you have low end nut!" My car used to do the same as Aarons, and break them loose at anything above 1500 basically, then I went to wider tires, and the cat is clogged again. It still pulls pretty hard though.
