I recently had a new custom cat-back exhaust system installed on my 93 cutlass. I ordered 2.5 dynomax cat and ss mufflers from jegs and took it all to a local exhaust shop. I get there, rop off my stuff, select my tips, tell them what I want, etc. Im pumped on getting my new exhaust installed and everything, so I head across the street to get something to eat and wait for them to finish.
When i get back I see that they installed the system with 2.25" piping and they say they couldnt fit the 2.5" piping in. 2.5" was the reason for the new exhaust. The car is still loud and is faster but im pissed off. This crap is the sort of thing that always happens to me. I cant believe that they welded 2.25 piping onto 2.5" cat and mufflers.
Anyways i was just wondering if there is a notacable difference between having the 2.25 vs the 2.5 piping installed.
