I want to finally put on my FFP underdrive pulley. For anyone who has removed the pulley can you let me know if the Crankshaft Pulley bolt is reverse threaded?? I tried to take it off earlier in the year and the bolt wouldn't budge. I tried an impact wrench and a breaker bar and only ended up with sore shoulder muscles. And this was after using a large amount of liquid wrench. I have a 91 LQ1...

yep, cram something in the flywheel and put a breaker bar on the bolt... the nut on my 3400 was a pain in the ass at first too...

I use vise grips on the flywheel. Iv had to take them bolts out so many times for the puley system I use.

use a good impact gun, and no its not reverse thread, i have a 1000ft./lbs torque Mac impact gun and that sure does the trick, just use an impact socket when you do or you will round the bolt head
