Yeah I've heard from two other guys that they completely fixed the stalling problem with new injectors. I think (know) I'm going to get these injectors when I get the cash -- after I get my car painted and get my new wheels. Yeah the stalling is embarassing, but it really isn't an issue most of the time.

After a long time of working perfectly with no problems, today it stalled twice, and gave me a code 32 (EGR) and code 35 (idle speed). I'm gonna pick up some 94 injectors for $50 today, swap em out, and let you guys know the results.Okay now, that's enough of that.

Yeah sometimes my car will go like a month without stalling, then stall 5 times backing out of a parking space in a parking lot.
As soon as I win the lottery I'm just gonna get the new injectors.--Rob

Well it is now back together, and it runs (yay). But, I am not convinced it fixed the problem.... In fact, if anything, it may have made the problem worse. Granted, after resetting the computer, it always runs a little rougher, and dips rpm's a little lower, so this may just be a fluke, and it may be fixed. So far, it hasn't stalled. But, it has come very close several times! I'll take it out for a longer drive tomorrow probably... (sigh)Okay now, that's enough of that.

Well, I took it on a real long test drive today. I went the same route yesterday, where it stalled twice, and so far, so good! It seems to have smoothed out a bit, and I haven't seen the rpm's dip low. Unfortunately, while on the highway, my SES came on, and when I got home, it read 32 and 35 again (I reset the computer after installing the injectors).Okay now, that's enough of that.

Yeah it's weird whenever I take my car on a long drive my car will flash 32. As soon as I shut the car off and restart it, it'll go away. Once it did this and the car totally lost power, it wouldn't rev at all. Shut it off, restarted it, and everything was fine, and it only happened once.
Cranky ass LQ1's I tells ya.--Rob

Re: 93 Stalling Update post of Nov 24 and your stalling problems. We did fix the stalling problem with the GM injectors but the car still throws the 32 code when it is driven awhile. It goes away after the car is turned off and reappears when the car is driven and heated up. He just ignors it. We have cleaned the EGR tube, intake plenum and replaced the EGR with a new one. We figure you can only do so much.93 Lumina Z34

I'm going to try one more related thing... changing the fuel filter. It hasn't been changed (EVER) and the tank is pretty rusty... Maybe after running xxx minutes, it starts getting loaded down, and can't idle? After that I'll change the IAC for good measure and ponder that $700 price tag some moreOkay now, that's enough of that.
