  • Knock sensor?!?!?!

    Hey guys, i have a 1993 Z-34, i love the car, but i cannot find the knock sensor, the service engine codes lead me to a faulty knock sensor but i do not know where it is located!!???!!?? HELP?!?!

    It should be on the side of the block about mid way back. On the opposite side of the oil filter. At least that is where most of them are.

      uhh, i looked for it but i still cant find it, i've heard you have to remove the alternator to get at it, is this true?!

          Do i have to remove the alternator out the bottom, or can i get at it if i remove the rubber skins or w/e they are that cover the axle, and get at it through there

              I can get to the knock sensor by pulling the Plenum, but is is still pretty hard to get to.
              95 MC Z34 Black
              Running strong with new engine, transmission, brakes and suspension.
