  • Ignition parts...

I recently replaced all my spark plugs in my car with NGK Iridium ones and also replaced the wires with new Niehoff ones, but now I blew my head gasket and with rebuilding my motor and adding more power with some stuff such as porting and polishing, sohc springs, lighter lifters, ffp under drive pulley and some other stuff but im wondering if anyone has upgraded their wires and seen any fast improvement in anything. Are new wires that are stock replacement ones as good as bigger mm ones from accel.

I was going to use bigger ones that you have to cut (the custom kits) but i heard from almost every mechanic at my work that tehy dont suggest using them that they suggest using stock wires.

    What do you guys think??

I've heard some people say they had good results with Magnecor wires, but I run the stock AC/Delco wires on my Olds along with Rapidfire 8 AC sparkplugs.

Tough break, magnecor wires aren't much more and last forever.

Oh well, the niehoff ones come with lifetime warranty anyways.. I actually ended up only paying 103.00CAD.. I am wondering what size the stock wires are in mm?

Which magnecor wire set is it that fits our cars, and how much is it exactly? If its a huge improvement I can still return the ones I bought.
