    I think this is the right forum...
    a friend has a lumina z34 with the 3.4L twincam engine, which is leaking oil. So we changed the oil pan gasket... and it still is leaking oil.
    What do you guys think this is?

    O Ring!! Any AMENS? I'm getting ready to do a complete teardown with pics. I can show how it get's fixed. Not hard at all.
    If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

            It looks like you have to take that head off to get that out or is it just me?

              It's just you

              Try lifting it up a little, cleaning off the surfaces, and putting a gasket smeared with RTV on it. See if that makes it go away.
