Is there a gasket that goes between the oil filter/pressure sender mount and the block? This is in regards to motors WITHOUT an oil cooler.
I got one at the junk yard and noticed I didnt have a gasket, it may have fallen out and I didn't have time to go back... so I just smeared some silicone on there. It sealed when I turned over the motor to build oil pressure, but I have no idea if its going to seal once the motor runs.
If there is a gasket, where can I get one locally? Part number? Price? I don't see it listed at Autozone or Kragen's..
