i don't think this is normal, need some confirmation. shop installed new AC/Delco wires 3 months ago. lifted hood at nite and saw white/blue light or glow where some of the back wires were against the intake manifold and engine bracket that pulsed as motor was running. the front 3 wires were wrapped with plastic tubing and didn't see the glow. not a spark jump, but enough to see as motor was running. took back to shop. they couldn't see glow, bay was too light and computer did not indicate misfire. this is on a 96 gtp, 3.4L that is having problems with missing and bogging.

RE: blue glow from spark plug wires
I don't think it will show misfire if your not losing all the spark, but you're getting some leakage there. Use wire ties or go to the parts store and get a couple of those wire holders and pull the wires away from where they're touching. Ideally they shouldn't be touching anywhere, not even other plug wires.

Damn sure ain't normal. But ricers would pay a lot for it. American Choppers use them a lot.
Seriously, may be a lot of weepage. Bad wires. Not losing all spark though. Bad lot maybe? Ask about warranty.
Can I get the glow in red?
And all my wires touch, by GM design. No Glow. No Misfire. If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.
