Sure is a bitch to remove the oil pan.

Book says to support engine and drop subframe for the extra clearance, and you MIGHT have to remove the tranny on some automatics.

I haven't managed to remove the oil pan but I did break the oil level sensor

I've never tried with engine in the car, but it's really easy when pulled.

There seems to be a pattern there.

Depending on what else you have to do droping the cradle isnt that time consuming. Again it just depends whatelse you have to do other than dropping the oil pan. Just the way you think on these cars. Ive written abunch of times whining about the bitch factor on these motors.
