It is a hassle, the upper plenum has to be removed to access the rear. This is one of those things that you may want someone else to do, because it isn't much fun. When I did it on mine the only place that had and could get the spark plug wires was the dealership, and the same with the AC Delco plugs. I want to say that parts alone was over $200. So I can imagine what labor will do to that also. The thing that irritated me was that 3 months after I changed the plugs the coil controlling number 2 burned up frying the wire. Either way it is a labor intensive job, but it is something that you may consider a shop doing.

Well we changed the front three plugs today, since its too freaking cold to argue with the intake, and I don't have a garage. The back three will get changed in a few weeks. ANYWAY, I had the light shut off and so far so good. The light has NOT come back on, and the car is running much better. However when we pulled one of the plugs out, the threads were SOAKED in oil. So I'm kinda afraid to see what the back three look like. As long as the light stays off until I get my front end fixed and until jmgtp does my T-belt I will be all set. Thanks guys.

It's not a bad job, really. It's definitely easier than a 3100 in a W-Chassis. We did plugs & wires on my '92 GP SE 3.4DOHC in a little over an hour. The hardest part was plug wire routing. Oh, and we dropped a socket...onto the frame rail, not the ground. The upper intake didn't have to come off, and in fact, probably wouldn't have helped much.\"NASCAR is an integral part of my life.
