  • verify this picture for me

This is the engine compartment of a 1992 Lumina 3.4DOHC. looking at the arrow, is what I'm pointing to the Vapor canister?

I'm trying to hook up the vaccuum lines for the cannistor purge solenoid valve. If this is not the canister, please point it out for me.

    thanks

RE: verify this picture for me

Its in the back of the car...

The lines you need to hook up are on the engine, passnger side, where the plenum is bolted to the rubber bushing to support it in the rear. 1 of the lines go to the plenum behind the TB, the other to a metal line near the brake booster.

The aarow points to a drain for the AC i believe. Its a drain point, dont hook anything up to it.

      Ben, you are correct sir...

That is the AC condensation drain. I removed the firewall liner when I did my engine swap and forgot about what it was for a while, just a rubber nipple.

The line that goes back to the vapor can is in with the brake lines. It blends in with them rising up at a 45* angle then leveling out. It's the only line that doesn't go to the ABS brake manifold.
