Herky Jerky Motion!!!

Anyone know why or what would cause my 94' Lumina Z34 to give a feeling of jumping around at regular crusing speeds...Only happens occasionally..
and the only way to describe it is a herky jerky feeling!!! Im thinking Transmission issues but what on Trans would cause this if it even is Trans?

Mine did that when one of my ignition coils was cutting out. It eventually went completely dead so I was running on 4 cylinders until I got it home to swap in a good one.
