Okay, here's the story: I bought my 93 GP and was driving it home... After several hours on the highway, suddenly the SES came on. Kept driving till I needed to fill up. Shut it off, filled it up, and tried to start it... Would start, and quickly die. Checked codes - 32 (EGR). Got it home by keeping my foot on the accelerator. Replaced the EGR with a used one, and cleaned out the plenum as best I could with some carb cleaner... Kept away my SES for a while, but now it started showing up again (sometimes at city speeds, sometimes only at highway). Grrr! AND! A little while ago, I was making a turn, and all of a sudden it just stalled out! It could be unrelated to the egr though. (No codes except the 32) How do I fix this damn code 32?

You might have a wiring problem, it sort of sounds like the ground wires that go to the ecm from the egr are shorting out somewhere. Well, thats just a thought that I would look into. With those wires shorting out, that will keep the egr soliniods open 100% and will set code 32.-Homer

Hmm... Could I unplug the connector to see if my stalling problem goes away? (currently, it is *very* intermittant) Or will this cause driveability problems? i.e. will it sense it's unplugged, set a code 32, and run in limp mode or something?Okay now, that's enough of that.
