  • Coolant temp sensor location for gauge reading on 93 Olds

Hi, I am hoping someone can help. After removing and replacing the plenum and lower intake on my 93 olds DOHC engine my temp gauge does not work. Maybe I forgot to plug in the sensor. But I can not see where the sensor is located. I can see the temp sensor for the ECM, but not for the gauge. Thanks,

    Tony

the sensor for the gauge is in the lower portion of the front head. It is in the same area where the tranny modulator is located. Take off your air box, look for a single green wire (IIRC) leading to the underside of the front head. (mine was well hidden in a wire loom with protective tubing)
