rebuild kit availability?

I'm planning on rebuilding the spare 3.4 I have from a 1992 Z34 5-speed and I'm trying to source a high quality rebuild kit. I want to go with Federal-Mogul brand (F-M, Sealed Power, Fel-Pro, etc.) parts. So far I have only found one source and their price is $620. However that is a very complete kit, everything but pistons.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to try contacting and what other brands are worth consideration?

I've read that a rebuild kit doesn't even exist - mind sharing what kit you know of? I know that parts/kits can be had from www.newengineparts.com for rather cheap.

The kit I speak of is through KitPros.com. They don't actually have a kit listed for the 1q1 but it said on their site to contact them if you didn't see a kit listed for your engine. So I did, and that was the price they quoted me. This was for rod and main bearings, rings, oil pump, timing chain and tensioner, timing belt, complete gasket set, brass expansion plugs, new torque-to-yield head bolts, and assembly lube. And everything is Federal-Mogul brand items.

They sell a Master Rebuild kit for $899. I know there is more than just them also because I have seen them. They have both the 91-95 and the 96-97

By the way, did you check out performancekits.net that was linked to at the bottom of kitpros.com? They look like they will make custom high performance rebuild kits to order for anybody that's looking for goodies to build up that turbo project.
