I have a couple questions on vacuum lines and breather filters. I have a mini-cone type breather filter on the end of my valve cover by the timing belt at present. Also, where the vaccum line connects to the air intake arm (the large plastic tube), since my tube cracked I just put another breather filter on the end of that vaccum line and plugged the air intake hole. I searched through old posts and found a few members here run the valve cover breather. Is my above setup ok to run, as the PCV system is still in tact and fully functional? Any other little trick mods like this I can do to my car (mainly for appearance), primarily with the vacuum system in general (also just to get rid of the mass amount of small vacuum lines running all around the engine bay)?
