  • What could be wrong?

    All right, i have a 93 Lumina Z34 that for the past 4 weeks has been giving me a lot of pains with things going wrong left and right. I have been posting on this link for most of the time but i am not getting a lot of help there so i was wondering if yall could help me.



    Any thoughts would help. Thanks

      could be a vac leak. a big one, check your pcv connections. or your maf but that would get u a ses light.

      EDIT: shit that's right a 93 no maf dooh.

        Check the MAP sensor lines. There should be 3 going to it. Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere and the MAP sensor doesn't like the reading.

          It is a performance issue so don't kick yourself.

          Well checking for fuel pressure, replacing the fuel filter, and testing the fuel regulator. Also could be an ICM/per coil problem. Sadly it may also be a syptom of a bad fuel pump, but check less expensive (also easier to replace in most cases) fuel and ignition system components first.

          As it is starting harsh and stalling predictably, a MAP fault code would be stored if it is the problem.

            This is getting weird. It has cranked up perfectly the past 2 days, but on 1 condition. The a/c has to be on. With out the a/c on it will die 2 seconds after i start it. Thanks for the help i will try to get to it sometime this week.
