can anyone tell me why thase car car get bad gas mileage i have put new wires ,spark plugs, new fuel filter,air filter. havent average out the fuel mileage but it seems that iam getting less then 12 miles to the gallon . checked timing all is good changed o2 sensor also. wondering if the cat is causing the bad mileage ?

My fuel pressure reg . was bad when I bought my car. Just pull the hose off the fuel pressure regulator and cycle the key to check. If fuel comes out of the vacuum port its bad. It will run rich. wow 12 is bad - it must be running noticably bad
